Sayer appointed a commission of experienced men to select the site for an Epileptic Colony. The plans called for an institution large enough to provide for five hundred "afflicted", the largest in the world. AbSSLC creates loads of laundry to process each day. The team takes on this responsibility and then adds in other facilities too! They pick-up, clean and deliver laundry for Big Spring SH as well as the Lubbock and San Angelo SSLCs.
