I've done I think 6 or 7 vex strike forces today on my Hunter, I own all exotics EXCEPT for the very newest gauntlets, Triton something something, the glaive guantlets and they have not dropped. You are correct. The only way to obtain new exotics is legend lost sectors or the legendary campaign. For swarmers they need to be unlocked by completing the campaign on legend then you can grind legend lost sectors for new rolls. Nah you can just get them from the lost sector.
