It was so boring. Since it’s about 600lb shut in they can’t really film in any exciting way. At least with movies about drunks, the drunks are fighting people or doing crazy, reckless shit. The whale was just two hours of Fraser fatly sitting around, moping, trying and failing to not eat obscene amounts of food and googling his symptoms.
