Tricaru runes are classically "bad runes", so just go farm elemental rifts to craft determination runes. If you get a 6* 2/4/6 Def% Determination rune for all 3 Icarus you're already nearly done making the team literally regardless of sub stats. It'll take 1-2 weeks of actively farming fire/light raid but so what?

Long term guard runes are not ideal, I would focus on determination and fight runes. I didn't craft any determination runes but I instead crafted 300 fight runes, it was a huge grind but in the process I got improvements to several of my teams.
